* Printer Cleaning Service Specifications:

LaserSmith is proud to announce that we can now offer Laser Printer Cleaning Services. One of our trained technicians will make an on-site visit and inspect and clean your laser printer. You will no longer have to worry about excess paper or toner dust interrupting your work!

* Areas of Cleaning Coverage:

1.) Transfer Wire - This essential part of your laser printer transfers the toner from the drum unit onto the paper. Our technicians will remove any excess toner from the wire to make sure that it is operating at its most efficient level.

2.) Cleaning Paper - Using cleaning paper will remove any excess toner deposit and dirt from the paper path. The toner in the paper path is not always visible to the naked eye.

3.) Paper Dust and Excess Toner - Using a vacuum cleaner, our technicians will perform an internal cleaning of your printer. They will clean any excess toner, paper dust, and any other debris from your printer.

4.) Electrical Contacts - Using a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol, our technicians will clean the electrical contacts in your printer. This is performed to maintain the high level of print quality you are accustomed to seeing. Maintaining clean contacts is a vital part of good print quality.

5.) Ozone Filter - If applicalble, our technicians will remove and install a new ozone filter in your printer. The purpse of the ozone filter is to remove the gases produced when oxygen meets high voltage electrical charges, like those produced in your laser printer. Not changing your ozone filter can cause: Headaches, nausea, congestion, and coughing.

6.) External Printer Cleaning - Using a specialy treated cloth, our technicians will also perform an external cleaning of your printer. We will remove any toner or paper dust from the exterior of your printer.
